A uniform water mist curtain forms inside the duct which will distinguish the sparks and glowing particles efficiently. The amount of water used has been optimized in a ratio of water needed to
one cubic meter of air to avoid damage to filters and to prevent dust explosion.

AS1 extinguishing unit has been protected against possible dirt floating in the water.

Easy and quick servicing
Water nozzles can be removed from the extinguishing unit by a special nozzle connector. This makes servicing easy and quick.

Short response time
Atexon extinguishing units together with VR2Z control unit form a very quick system response. As a benefit, the detector and extinguishing points can be installed a short distance from each others and in this way often gain cost advantages by keeping the extinguishing unit inside facilities.
