VR18Z

VR18Z functions as a visual window for the extinguishing system. All alarms and events are clearly shown on the large LCD display in operators own language. The control consult is programmed in 10 different languages.

VR18Z control consult has unique characteristics:

· ATEX certified detectors for zone 20!

· Can be coupled with up to 54 detectors

· 18 signal routers

· 6 pressure boosters

· 18 relays for equipment control

· Adjustable extinguishing time

· Remote connection via internet browser

· Simultaneous support in 10 different languages

· Spark counting and control functions based on number of sparks

· Key lock for changing the settings; no need to remember passwords

· Integrated alarm outputs for higher level alarm systems (for example ESMI compatible)

· Real time monitoring of extinguishing water temperature (economical heat tracing for outside installations)

· Memory for up to 10.000 last events. Event scanning is easy by either from display of computer.

Easy and fast to test
The Control consults service state will come on by pressing one button. In this state the whole operational system test can be performed. If so desired, the test can be performed as a water test. In this care the function of extinguishing units are tested as well. Test results are stored in memory for later analyses.

Integrated surface temperature sensors and alarm outputs
There are integrated surface temperature sensors in VR18Z control unit which are designed to protect suction air blowers, feeders, and screw feeders from overheating. The control consult stops by relay output the defected fire hazardous equipment and gives an alarm.

Fulfilling all requirements
All needed functions according to ATEX directive have been integrated into the control unit and it has also been designed to fulfil the CEA guidelines for spark detector- and extinguishing systems.
